The Saint Louis Art Fair is an annual celebration of visual and performing arts. We are excited to offer this programming component of the Art Fair - Walking on Art Chalk Drawing Challenge.
The challenge is open to high schools, middle schools, and youth groups, FREE OF CHARGE. Here is what you need to know to participate:
The Challenge
The teams will create their works of art in the time honored tradition of Italian street painting – with chalk as the medium and the pavement as the canvas!
Students are the only ones that may work on the drawing. Teacher/Supervisor is
there only for support and direction.
Teams will be provided a 10’x10’ space, chalk pastels, and pieces of carpet to lay on the pavement.
Bottled water will be distributed on Friday evening, access to the VIP/Artist Hospitality Center will be available on Saturday and Sunday for food and beverage, and a Walking on Art t-shirt. |
