Flamenco Cultural Society

Dave Simon's Rock School - The All-Star Select Band - 11:45-1:00pm

The All-Star Select Band features the top musicians at Dave Simon's Rock School. The band features musicians ages 14-17 from the St. Louis metropolitan area. The All-Star Select Band Performs a variety of songs from each decade of rock.

Kunama Mtendaii - 2:00pm-2:45pm

Kunama
Kunama Ayanwale Mtendaji is a folk artist specializing in the traditions of the African Diaspora. His presentations are interdisciplinary, utilizing storytelling, music and dance.


Linda Wheatland Smith - 3:00-3:45pm

Celebrate and unite your community as your experience the joy of singing together with folksinger and guitarist Linda Smith. Songs about family, friends, America, and protecting our planet are passed on to the students in this sing-a-long.
Songs of Africa

Saint Louis Flamenco Cultural Society- 4:00 - 5:45pm

Marisel Salascruz, Artistic Director, founded the St. Louis Cultural Flamenco society Dance Company in 1984. Our mission is to promote the cultural diversity and tradtional values of Spain.



Jazz St. Louis All-Stars - 5:30 - 6:30 pm

The Jazz St. Louis All-Stars are comprised of the finest young jazz musicians in the St. Louis area. Students in the ensemble rehearse weekly under the direction of noted musicians and educators, Jason Swagler and Reggie Thomas.

St. Louis Ballet

Dave Simon and the Kidzrock Band - 3:15-4:15pm

Dave Simon wrote the songs for the celebrated children's CD, Kidzrock. The Kidzrock CD ultimately led to a rock band program at Simon's rock school for 4-8 year olds called Kidzrock Band.

     

The Saint Louis Art Fair and The Big Read are produced and presented by    Cultural Festivals.
